J`s Restaurant in McMinnville

Loved it could not wait to get the next bite pop could have ate 2or 3of them

Just went today with my family. Our waitress was nothing spectacular and got flustered quick when they got busy. The youngest waitress never smiled and looked very unhappy and maybe shouldn't work in customer service if she can't be friendly. Our appetizers were the mozzarella sticks and they came out decently quick and were good. However, we ordered and our food took over 40 minutes to be brought out. Will not be returning.

Me and my husband went to eat at J's restaurant the other day. Our experience was beyond horrible. If I could give negative stars, I would. It took forever for our waitress to ask what we wanted. She took almost 10 mins just to get our drinks, my husband's water tasted like dirt and my Dr. Pepper tasted like pure cane syrup, it was disgusting. I ordered the Mexican plate and my husband ordered the beef nachos with 3 tacos. Our food was cold when we got it and it took forever for it to be brought out over 30 minutes. The taco shells were not done, tasted stale. The tomatoes tasted soured and the lettuce on the tacos was brown. We will never be going back to J's ever again. Not only did the food taste horrible, but the service was horrible as well.

Local restaurant with a nice variety. If you like potatoes, get the baked potato.

A family owned restaurant with a long history, they serve a wide variety of food types along with unique takes on otherwise usual cuisine. Highly recommended. Everything here is good. Everything.

Excellent food and service

One of the best Sonics we've ever been to. Place is very clean, people are nice, service is quick with correct orders. The equipment to order on is always working, not something I've found at other Sonics. Usually busy which is a great sign of their reputation.

Staff can be friendly. Salad is amazing most of the time. Locating inside of Three Star Mall.

J's always has great food.

Small place in a mall. In Mcminnville, TN. Have some great food. Do not get there very often, but always pleased.

Used to be better years ago. Staff is whack af and rude. They rush you out anytime past 6, if it's that big of a deal just close earlier. The restaurant all around just isn't as good as it used to be years ago. Whoever is cooking in the back couldn't even cook a hot dog properly.

Overall the food is decent and priced fairly. It's a small place but convenient to the mall walking track, for those who like to walk after they eat.

Employees act like we were a burden. Didn't have an item on menu that my wife wanted. It was main reason for going. This place has went down hill since owner died. Food has taken on a pre packaged taste instead of the fresh made of old. We won't be going back this was our third time giving them a try and it's gotten worse each time. I would give minus stars if I could.

Nothing fancy, but the food is always good as well as the service. One of the few places that has a BLT on the menu that taste like it was made at home.

The fries were good,and the wings i got,but i ordered hot wings and they gave me regular which sucked,and the wings were so hard it was like biting into squishy dog bone lol but it was still good and smelled good too

Have been eating here for over 25 years, never a bad meal or experience. Jean Claude Jr is continuing his fathers tradition of great food at a great value with great service!
